How do I put it...

There's... a very dear friend, that's joined us here in Iyashikei. Silver hair, has the attitude of an energetic, flighty kitten that hasn't been broken in on a good day, otherwise has a very kind heart to her. Ruka's antics remind me a bit of her, mostly in that same sort of energy.

Honestly... On the one hand, I do think she needs friends other than me. She's doing better now, but a few more hands to keep her afloat won't hurt anybody.

...because that's what happened. Unfortunately, she arrived here in a less than ideal state and needed treatment from the locals.

[That's all she's going to divulge on that. Yuki isn't ready to hear the more complicated parts of their relationship yet.]

It's been... a lot, adjusting in the wake of how she showed up here, but we'll manage.

I... appreciate it. I can't say any more than that, but know this means a lot, both for me and for her.

[It's not every day that she can get the help of an acquaintance without feeling frail about it. After so long fighting for her most precious person's sake, and later to protect all around her, her shoulders feel a little lighter than they did all those years ago.

Maybe Kiana's rubbed off on her more than she thought she did...]
