When she comes back down, she reveals what seems to be a small black box.]

[Thankfully, Ruka's actually fairly locked onto her hinges for the time she's waiting. When Yuki comes back, though, she squints intently at the black box.]

Huh. What's in it?

[Yuki's response is a bit hurried, almost embarrassed.

When Ruka does, she'll find herself eyeing a necklace that looks like a guitar pick. The 'pick' itself is red and almost seems crystal-like; it has Ruka's name engraved on it in gold and can open up to store something inside: perhaps an actual pick or a photo.]

Alright, alright...

[...well, nothing else to it but to open the box up.]

[How much did Yuki burn on this??? It's got her name on it, and it opens up and everything-- and is that a place to keep a picture of the both of them she's seeing?]

[Man, she's gotten gifts before, but--something about the person that's her lifeline and her biggest fan at the same time makes this one strike a different kind of chord.

Of course, Ruka being the weird fountain of knowledge she is, she knows exactly what this could be read as.]
